Circleville Elementary’s Tammy Laughlin named recipient of state Excellence in STEM Teaching Award

Circleville Elementary STEM and Media Arts specialist Tammy Laughlin has been named a 2021 recipient of the Excellence in STEM Teaching Award presented by the Ohio STEM Learning Network, the highest education and STEM STEM governing body in the State of Ohio.

The Excellence in STEM Teaching Award recognizes a teacher who exemplifies integrated, STEM-infused teaching strategies and classroom innovation, and whose work has led to positive student learning outcomes.

This awardee engages students in inquiry-based learning to develop creativity, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

On behalf of Circleville City Schools we commend Mrs. Laughlin for all of her hard work and dedication to bringing Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics to our youngest Tigers and inspiring them to pursue STEM classes, hobbies, and careers. Congratulations Mrs. Laughlin!
