Circleville High School names Brandon Wright next Athletic Director

On Wednesday, May 19th at the regular meeting of the Board of Education, District Leadership named Madison Plains Athletic Director Brandon Wright as their next Athletic Director starting in the 2021-2022 school year.

For Wright, he returns to Circleville City Schools after a two year stint at Madison Plains having previously spent three years working in the Tiger Athletic Office as an athletic assistant. Prior to that, Wright was the Sports Information Director at Ohio Christian University where he holds an M.A. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Sports Management and Business.

As a coach, Wright’s background is in baseball and softball as a coach with the 8th grade softball Tigers (2017), JV baseball program (2014 and 2018), and as varsity coach for Piqua Acme Baseball (2013 and 2014).

Wright replaces Chad Spradlin as Athletic Director who is stepping down to pursue a passion to return to the classroom, coaching, and to spend more time with family. Circleville City is incredibly thankful for the work of Mr. Spradlin over the years overseeing a number of athletics facilities upgrades and ushering in a new era of Red & Black athletics in the process on our new campus.

Wright and his wife, Courtney, and two children, Sadie and Maggie reside in Circleville.
