CHS’ Colton Pinkerton signs on to run with Ashland University

On Friday, May 14th in front of staff, coaches, and family, Circleville High School senior Colton Pinkerton signed his letter of intent to run track at Ashland University.

“I knew after my visit that it was the right place for me,” said Colton. “Their business complex was amazing and their running program is highly decorated.”

Pinkerton’s career with the Red & Black includes a number of conference, district, and state honors including: 4x Varsity letter earner with Cross Country and Track and Field, 4x all-District Cross Country runner, 3x all-District Track and Field, 2x all-Region Cross Country, 1x all-Regional Track and Field, 4x State qualifier, and 2x all-Ohio indoor runner in Track and Field.

Colton is the son of J.D. Pinkerton and Joanna Pinkerton of Circleville and he plans to study business and sport management at the DII school.
