Circleville City Schools – On Monday, October 2nd, the Circleville City School District received a $25,000 donation from the Hummel and Plum Insurance Agency to be put to use for improvements to the campus’ baseball complex.
The generous contribution from the insurance firm will specifically be put to use for student initiatives related to the baseball complex such as upgrades to the backstop, bullpen/mounds, and batting cages.
“We are extremely humbled by the amazing community partners we have, Hummel and Plum being the latest example, willing to donate specifically to expanded opportunities for our students,” Superintendent Jonathan Davis said.
A Circleville City Schools community partner, Hummel and Plum Insurance Agency, inc. has been a staple of the Circleville-area community since its founding in 1904. Today, Hummel and Plum has offices in Circleville, Ashville, Mount Sterling, and Chillicothe and partners with five diverse, Ohio-based providers to accommodate the needs of their customer base at competitive rates.
The organization is slated to be recognized for their contribution at the upcoming October 11th meeting of the Board of Education.
